Central Coast car enthusiasts, it’s time to shift into high gear! Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 28, as the 17th Annual Goleta Fall Classic Car Show presented by Ruth Ann Bowe – Village Properties zooms back into The Goleta Lemon Festival. This year’s event is revving up to be the biggest and best yet, featuring a stunning lineup of classic cars, trucks, pickups, and more. Celebrating over three decades of lemony goodness, The Goleta Lemon Festival has been the pit stop for the Goleta Fall Classic Car Show. This year’s show is set to be an automotive extravaganza that will have you hitting the brakes just to take it all in. The car show takes place on Saturday only from 9 AM to 3 PM.

Rev your engines and prepare to be transported into a world of automotive nostalgia, where you can admire the horsepower, sleek designs, and roaring engines that define these classic vehicles. Meet the proud owners and discover the fascinating stories behind their beloved rides. The highlight of the event will be the awards ceremony, where the cream of the crop will be crowned in categories spanning nearly a century of automotive history, each judged with the precision of a finely tuned engine.

Squeeze the Day at the Goleta Lemon Festival

The Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber of Commerce is excited to host another Goleta Lemon Festival! Presented by Rusty’s Pizza, the 31st annual festival will be held on September 28 & 29, 2024 at Girsh Park in Goleta.

The Goleta Lemon Festival celebrates the region’s rich history and role lemon harvesting has played dating back to around 1875 when Sherman Patterson Stow of Goleta’s Rancho La Patera planted the first known commercial lemon orchard in California.

The Goleta Lemon Festival has grown to attract more than 40,000 residents, visitors, community leaders, nonprofits, and elected officials, celebrating the Good Land’s zest. The festival is Goleta’s largest community event of the year, hosting over 80 booths featuring local non-profit organizations, crafts, lemony foods and beverages, and lemon-themed souvenirs. Come hungry and plan to indulge at the Community West Bank Food Court with treats to satisfy any craving like lemonade, lemon bars, and Rusty’s pizza! When you get thirsty, visit the Signature Aviation Lemon Lounge for a refreshing lemon ale, cider, and local wines.

While festival goers explore and shop, they will enjoy live music from the American Riviera Bank Main Stage with a wide variety of genres, including Rock, Country, Blues, Funk, and more. Don’t miss the headliner, Area 51, on stage Saturday afternoon. Nearby you can power up your phone at the Scale Microgrids Charging Station after all those selfies from the dance floor.

The Goleta Lemon Festival is a family-friendly event for kids of all ages. An all-inclusive activity wristband will get you endless rides and games, like archery tag, inflatable bubbles, and mini golf at the Santa Barbara Airport Kids Zone. The festival also features the largest interactive display of Fire, Police, and Emergency Services in the County at Safety Street, presented by ExxonMobil. On Saturday only, the festival will feature the 17th Annual Goleta Fall Classic Car Show, presented by Ruth Ann Bowe Village Properties, showcasing a variety of cool classic cars ranging from Corvettes and Camaros to trucks and pick-ups along with motorcycles and bicycles. 2023 Vendor Applications Now Available

Applications for vendors for the 2023 Goleta Lemon Festival are now being accepted. Each year, the Goleta Lemon Festival hosts 70+ booths featuring local non-profit organizations, as well as food, beverage, and merchandise booths selling everything from lemonade and lemon cotton candy in the Community West Bank Food Court to lemon accessories, hats and trinkets.

As festival guests shop, they will enjoy live entertainment on the American Riviera Main Stage in a wide variety of musical styles, including Rock, Country, Blues, R&B, and more. In 2022, the Goleta Lemon Festival attracted record attendance of over 30,000 visitors.

All prospective vendors must submit applications via DocuSign by August 7th for food vendors and August 25th for non-food vendors to participate in the 2023 Goleta Lemon Festival, which will be held September 30 & October 1, 2023, at Girsh Park in Goleta. The Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of The Goleta Lemon Festival, presented by Rusty’s Pizza, on September 24 & 25 at Girsh Park in Goleta. The Goleta Lemon Festival hosts 80+ booths featuring local non-profit organizations, lemony foods and beverages, lemon accessories, hats, and souvenirs.

The South Coast celebrates the rich history and role lemon harvesting has in our region with The Goleta Lemon Festival. What started as a small street festival in 1949 celebrating Goleta’s agricultural roots, has grown to attract more than 40,000 residents, visitors, community leaders, nonprofits and elected officials celebrating the South Coast and Goleta community. The festival is Goleta’s largest community event of the year for 29 years.

Indulge at the Community West Bank Food Court with treats to satisfy any craving like lemonade, lemon tacos, lemon cotton candy and Rusty’s pizza!  When you get thirsty, visit The Signature Flight Support Lemon Lounge for a refreshing lemon ale and local wines.

While festival goers explore and shop, they will enjoy live entertainment from the American Riviera Main Stage in a wide variety of musical styles, including Rock, Country, Blues, R&B, and more. Don’t miss the headliner and local favorite, Area 51! 

The Lemon Festival is known as a fun, informative, and exciting event for kids of all ages. Getting to the Festival!

How are you and your friends are getting to the Goleta Lemon Festival? Here are the many ways to the Festival:

BIKE

Biking to the Lemon Festival is free and fun. Grab your helmet and two wheels and bike to Girsh Park. City of Goleta’s bike paths makes it easier and safer to travel by bike. Once you’re at the Festival, park your bike on the bike racks provided by BiCiCentro. Bike racks are located on Santa Felicia.

BUS

Enjoy a comfortable and convenient ride on the Santa Barbara MTD to the Lemon Festival. Standard fare one way is $1.75 and a day pass is only $6. Click here for bus routes and schedules.

LYFT

Ride with Lyft to the Lemon Festival and save $5. Use our promo code LEMONFEST19! and receive $5 off your ride to or from Girsh Park. Lyft pick up/drop off location is 7050 Phelps Road.

DRIVE & CARPOOL

Pack the car with your loved ones and head over to the Festival in your car. Event parking is located at 340 Storke Road. From the parking lot, make sure to safely walk across Storke Road at Marketplace Drive to get to the Lemon Festival.
